Why does the U.S. give foreign criminals so many rights?
If Americans were in foreign soil they would be tortured and then killed. Can't the American goverment understand foreign criminals laugh at our criminal law system?

I don't believe we give foreign criminals unreasonable rights. We wouldn't be the country we are if we didn't give that, and if you listen to news elsewhere you would believe that Americans torture foreign criminals. I don't believe because one or more other countries are inhumane in this way that we should follow suit. Human rights are important to Americans and we even strive for them for people in other countries.

Many US troops have been returned home after being imprisoned on foreign soil. Besides, I don't think that war criminals who have to spend the rest of their lives in jail are having it "easy."

Don't you think the rest of the world hates us enough? We don't want to make matters worse by torturing the prisoners of war.Just look at all the rights American prisoners have. These jails are just like country clubs.

Some parts of the Constitutions say "all citizens" .. these parts apply only to US citizens. Other parts say "all persons" ... these parts apply to everyone, no matter what nationality or status. If you don't like that, you'll have to take it up with the Founders, or the people who wrote and passed the various amendments. If you want to change it, you'll have to write and get passage of an amendment changing the Constitution.

It appears that a very few miscreants have gotten into our government, and turned it's good-intentioned laws, designed to protect decent people into a way of bilking the decent people.
The solution is to find that very, very small few who are ruining it for the rest of us and apply our laws to them.

If you break the law in my country, we won't kill or torture you. You kill your own criminals though.
