what are you getting or doing for the "Dad" in your life?
biological, step, grand,foster,just likeone, or your baby's, what are you going to get or do for the guy in your life that has the title of DAD?
people freak every year on what to do for mom, but dads get the shaft. do something nice for these guys too! mow his yard,take him to a basballl game, whatever.
i actually allready gave my BF his gift,lol. after thinking about it, i though of something simple to get him to smile. i got him a 6 inch Cheescake Factory cheesecake just for him,lol. something he would not get for himself, and yet loves. of course i will do more stuff for him, but he got a big smile when our little bot gave it to him.

I am taking my sisters three kids off their hands for fathers day so they can have a day to themselves.

Yeah, we DO get the shaft! At my daughter's school they had a Mother's Day tribute. All the mom's came in and got waited on, etc. For the dads? Nothing.
Anyway... I got my dad a gift certificate to choose from a myriad of senior citizen day trips that our city sponsors (he goes on a lot of 'em), and a cd of... Portuguese comedy bits.

my dad lives in Maine with my brother, sister, and her 3 kids. I am in Massachusetts. I found a great restaurant in their town and got him gift certificate for dinner, enough for everyone to go with him on Father's day. I also got him a name meaning print.

We used to get my dad gifts for Fathers Day, but now he's a Jehovah's Witness and doesn't want us to observe holidays. We still get him gifts, but give them on another day close to Fathers Day. He <says> he doesn't want gifts, but deep down he enjoys it. We say it's "just because" but he knows what they're really for.

well i have to go to camp be fore he come home from California so i gave him his gift on tuesday i made him a slide show with the aggie war hymn ( GO AGGIES!!!) and pictures of our family, and i bought him two coffe texas coffe mugs ( GO TEXAS!!!) one for work and one for home then i gave him a card that said "dad you deserve a 21 gun solute" then on the inside it said "how about 10 bleches 7 farts and 4 armpit noises" he loved it.

well i was on this site and it had all different cards for kids to do and there was this one really cute one that is a mouse and it had a piece of chese in its mouth and it said "dad your the big cheese" i found that for my sister to do and for me i bought him a ps2 and the nascar thunder game.

I got him a big fat box ofFerrero Rocher (sp?) chocolates. He loves them, but always says its too expensive so he never buys it.

My father has done nothing for my brother and me so he will get nothing from me. All I want is my 900 dollars from him and that's it.
