No we can never do enough. We should keep obeying Him and doing good deeds. Pray for forgiveness and mercy. God will decide who deserves Heaven and who doesn't.

I wouldn't say I've done enough. My goal is to tell as many people about Jesus during my time on earth as I possibly can. If Jesus were to come today, I most definitely will have a place in heaven. I have learned to "walk in love" in spite of the many challenges my flesh encounters. I am a tither, a believer, and live according to Gods word. Yes, I've earned a place in heaven and no I have not done enough. I still have so much to do for Him that loves us.

Why would going to heaven be of such a pleasant place to go, whats wrong with California, I know the rents are high and so are most of the people. Do you think the man upstairs is checking on YOU if you did your good deeds lately? I think it would have to do with the frame of mind you leave this place with when its time to depart to the next level.Oh no,save me from the tricky question that has so many outcomes of answers and if I can go or not. I need a vacation .oh that is a bad answer, guess I'm going to the where the weather outside is frightful, but fire inside delightful...

You can never earn a place in heaven. You can be the worst "sinner" on the planet, commit all of the "deadly sins" and then still get a place in heaven. All you have to do is sincerely ask God to forgive you, and because he loves you more than any human could he will forgive you - and allow you in. The key is sincerity in repentance.

I have done what God wants of me. So yes, I have earned a place in heaven.
I obey Torah. I do not lie, steal, commit adultry. I eat kosher, keep His true Sabbath. What God says to do in a life that is holy, this I do. So by the instructions He has given me, He will give me a place in heaven, or more correctly, a place in the World to Come.

Seriously, if there was a heaven, and it's like you hear stereotyped everywhere, on TV, by preachers, whatever...if I were to show up, I'd just spoil the whole thing! I don't think I could bring myself to tain such a perfect place! I'm far to vain and selfish and greedy and arrogant and rude to be allowed into heaven.

You can never do enough. A person can never earn his/her way to heaven and one single sin disqualifies you from ever going.
If you place your faith in Jesus you are judged on his rightoutnes not your lack off.

You are under the assumption that I must earn my place in Heaven. According to my church's teachings, I only have to believe that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I only have to believe that he died for my sins and that he has bestowed eternal life for that belief.
John 3:16 - 18: For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. (NIV)
