Anyone think USC will play in a third straight national championship game? If so against who?

No chance without Leinart, Bush, and Lendale White, not to mention Winston Justice and Darnell Bing. I think Cal will win the PAC-10..

My National Championship game pick:

Ohio State vs. Florida

WOW.... First let me just say I'm not really a fan of USC, but I do enjoy watching them play. But with that being said there is no way Pete Carroll will have the Trojans in the Orange Bowl this year. They lost what is considered one of the most powerful juggernauts in Collegiate football history. With the departures of Leinart, Bush, White, Lutui, Justice, Bing, Rucker, Bird and Matua they have tons of talent to replace. Now don't get me wrong, they recruit very very well, but they can't play championship football with all the new faces coming in. It will take a few years for them to get back to a dominate level. But if they do go to the championship, then maybe they should consider letting USC play some NFL teams in the summer or something... HA HA HA HA. Even if Mark Sanchez or John David Booty come on fast, the defense will still have a lot of wrinkles to iron out. My prediction for the championship is Florida State & West Virgina, with FSU running away with it.

some thing can ensue, besides the indisputable fact that the probability of USC playing for a championship are preeeeettty low. possibly if France takes back the Louisiana purchase, there's a chain of football courses extremely disbanding, and elementary guidelines of the universe take a siesta USC would likely have a shot... possibly.

Penn State vs either Notre Dame or Ohio State

They have already played in three straight championship games. They lost to Texas this year, and won the championship game the two previous years.

If they make it again, it'll be their FOURTH straight title game.

usc i think is going to have a real disappointing season Notre dame got a good team and might be an upset with a reasonably soft schedule.
