You American's know nothing about "soccer" so maybe you should all just shut up and go home. This isn't a ****** baseball game ya know. England probably aren't gonna win the World Cup, but you never know, if they get lucky and start playin the way they played for the last 10 minutes against Trinidad and Tobago, it's possible. But yeh chances are slim, very slim indeed, but not as slim as the chances of the USA winning anything to do with "soccer".

I am afraid England is not going to win the World Cup and I surmise some country like Venzuela is going to win the World Cup.

It's anyones game at this stage. A lot of English would like to think we'll win, including me, but I'm not putting money on it. And anyone who says Yes so fervently is to be avoided at all costs if we lose!

If they focus on winning and on their strengths (instead of buying into all the negativity of the media) then yes. Go for it boys! You have the ability and the experience!

I love watching it and 'hoping' we win each match, but we'll never win it again. Not this year anyway. We go quite far but that's it.
