If your name is pig is it a curse in the Islamic belief?

Do we ask why Christmas is held at the same time as the pagan winter soloists. No one really know the date of the birth of Jesus (pbah) and so they picked a good party time so they would not have to give it up. Instead of making fun of Muslims maybe you could look into why things happen in Christianity.

Umm, no it is not a "curse" we don't believe in voodoo hexes and things like that. However, you should probably change it, because it is disrespectful to yourself! Also, your parents probably are not very good, so you should look into that as well.

As for the previous post about Winnie the Pooh, that is garbage, and that person shouldn't just believe what they read without inquiring futher. He was referring to Turkey, and that was an unproven story. The real reason why they didn't show Winnie the Pooh was because they hadn't received the cartoons from Disney yet (they had only negotiated the rights).

I believe any one who is called a pig is degraded regardless of religion b/c it is an animal who feeds on its own wastes and is full of diseases/worms. Scientifically, it is the filthiest animal and the most unhealthy. Note it is also against Christianity and Judaism to eat the flesh of swine or even wine for that matter.

actually not...the animal is not cursed..its the eating of pig not allowed...

and it has been proved scientifically that ...eating pig meat ....makes you susceptible to various diseases...
