I went through the same confusion when I was unsure about atheism and skepticism. Copied from the link below:
Agnostic is a belief that we cannot prove either the existence or the non-existence of deity. Many Agnostics believe that we can never know about the existence of a deity. Others suggest that we cannot know anything about deity at this time with the currently available evidence, but that this could conceivably change in the future.
Skeptics, otoh, tends to not believe in anything that has no empiricial or tangible evidence (scientific).
Examples: Agnostics could believe in UFOs and ghosts, but unsure about deity. But skeptics won't believe in all three.

If by skeptic, you mean Atheist then not really. While one can be both Atheist and Agnostic, they still are different terms.
Thus Atheist =! Agnostic
However, if you mean the general def. of Skeptic, then Agnostic is more a general conclusion one can arrive from by pursuing skepticism of knowledge people claim to have of Gods.
So again, Agnostic =! Skeptic

A skeptic is someone who can be skeptical about anything. You can be skeptical that a train is going to show up on time. An agnostic is skeptical that there is a god. That's the difference.

Agnostic means "no knowledge", in other words they believe that the existance of God is a useless question since man doesn't have the capacity to know God anyway. A skeptic just questions everything (a good trait IMHO).

Agnostics believe that the question of god's existence is neither here nor there. In other words, it does not matter whether or not god exists. Maybe he does, and if so he is not interested in us, so it the same as if he doesn't. Skeptics don't believe god exists at ll. PERIOD. END of discussion.

Agnostics aren't sure if there is a god, and skeptics try to find the truth usually through science.

No, I'm both.
A skeptic is someone who is generally tough to convince about anything. They need proof in general.
An agnositc is someone who believes in God or a higher power but does not practice a formal religion and isn't convinced of anything.
Those are my definitions, so they may not be 100% accurate.
Hope that helps.

a gnostic is someone without belief in a deity (god) a skeptic is someone who questions stuff in general.
an Atheist holds that god is non-existent

To me they are one in the same therefore they're both confused just like atheists.

Being both, I would say yes. But then I can't see being one without the other. You would have to take it on "faith".......
