How do I protect myself from a person who stated she was a 30 year old star and now states she is 12 yrs old?
I was contacted by a person who stated she was a major Hollywood start. Conversations got to telephone exchange. Then she accused me of stalking her. She initiated the contact on several occasions before and after the stalking accusation. Now she says she is a 12 year old who has contacted the police. I have told this person to stop contacting me on several occasions. Since being accused of stalking I have told her to leave me alone each time she contacted me. How do I protect myself form this threat? If their are any law enforcement who see this post --- please contact me to help. I do not want any contact with this person and will turn over what I have of the conversations if you are law enforcement. I just want this predator to go away.

If I were you I would have to ask myself how in the hell I could not tell the difference in conversation between a 30 year old and a 12 year old. What is with that?
If she is now after you what is stopping you from filling a harassment suit against her. At the very least make her think you will.
And what is she basing this stalking claim on. What did you do that would justify such a claim? If you did nothing but talk to her she does not have a claim.
A 30 year old star huh? Hmmm....

Go quickly to your local courthouse and file a request for an "Order Against Harrassment". She will have an opportunity to respond to the complaint in court. If she does not show up a default judgment in your favor would most likely be ordered.
At this point, any contact she has with you can result in the criminal charge of "Contempt of Court" or "Non-complying with Judicial Proceedings" as well as "Harrassment".
If you have the option, call trace with the phone company so there is an independent record of the call. You might also invest in an olde fashioned tape recorded message machine to tape the conversations.
Protect yourself. If this girl is a minor you can be opening yourself up to lots of criminal charges if she decides to holler "rape". Good luck

First of all, you need to STOP answering the phone and you need to block her e-mails. If she continues calling after 7 days, file a police report. You need documentation that you have tried to stop the contact. You also must REFUSE the contact. Just don't answer the phone and don't open her e-mails.

Don't follow Monkeymuffins advice. Never tell anyone that you are going to abduct them.Copy all of your emails to and from,if you haven't already deleted them.Just for proof of what is going on.Contact the police and see if they will take a report. Some stations are to busy.If they won't take a report see if you can talk to someone with authority that can take a statement.

In a case like this I would change my phone number. I know it can cost a little bit, but believe me it will be worth it. Also, don't give it out so quick next time.
I would say just block her number but then she will just call from other phones. SHes nuts. change your phone number.
If you HAVE to you can even delete your yahoo account and start a new one, and get new emails and delete the old ones and stuff. Just write down or print out your other friends emails and add them again with your new account.
You can at least make it harder for her to bother you that way.

hmmm .... well, first of all, get rid of monikers like "daddyspanksalot" ... that'll help ....
I guess you know there are a lot of vigilantes out there busily looking for pedophiles and sex offenders generally ? if not, now you do ....
stay far, far away from kids online .... no matter how innocent the conversation is ....
wherever you met this person, consider staying away from there for awhile ... and consider changing you handle, screen name, whatever it is that identifies you ...
Don't know if I'd go turning over transcipts to anyone at all if nobody is asking for them .... police are suspicious of people protesting their innocence when they haven't been accused of anything ....
keep your nose clean and move on is my advice .... if you've told us less than the whole truth about this encounter then do what you can to get yourself together ASAP ....

See how dangerous online chatting can be? That's what I keep telling everyone. People lie all the time, and I hope that you have enough proof that you really believed this person to be 30. Good luck.

Change your phone #, and make a police report of this just in case she is physco at least you will have some kinda of report about this. Changing the number for harassment calls shouldn't cost anything. when I changed my # they didn't charge me fee and I have SBC if that helps. Good-luck.

Play her game on her. Tell her you are an extraterrestrial from the planet Zion and unless she backs off, you will abduct her to your planet and make her your slave. How's that for her Hollywood career? Tell me how this response works out for you. Best of luck.
