Not a surprise when one considers Christianity and how it works. When one has a religion that forgives sins on a weekly basis, then people would be more apt to sin because they can so easily be forgiven.
Corruption in Christianity? Sure, I believe that.

The statistics are skewed.Countries whose citizens attend church regularly are also countries with larger populations. One does not necessarily correspond to the other .The USSR banned religion and was definitely corrupt,it did have a large population though.Because something exists in most of the study subjects by no means says it is the cause of the problem being studied.

This should not be a surprise with a religion that gives one a "get out of jail free" card for practically every offense. Karmic laws would make more sense. As an agnostic, however, I prefer to see earthly retribution rather than hope for God to get around to punish the vile. Were we truly agnostic, there would be no forgiveness of a man that facilitated the sale drugs to children, let alone give him a goddamned talk show!

You would have to be living under a rock if that came as a surprise to anyone. If the Christian faith had such a good, calming effect over everyone there would be no such thing as politics to begin with.

People created gods.
Governors created religion.
Show me a government that is not proved corrupted! How about what we, the people, never hear, learn?
Definitely, religions are the greatest allegory and weapon for corruption!

This is an hypothetical anslysis and does not have any ground, there are two types of religious people fundamentalists and spiritualist, where fundamentalist exists yes the above statement is true, where spiritualist exist it cannot be true.

It's a pity that a supreme being and His true teachings is judged by the doings of mere humans.

No.
THIS IS WHAT THE LORD SAYS--HE WHO MADE YOU,
WHO FORMED YOU IN THE WOMB.
( ISAIAH 44:2 *NKJV )
Dear ----------,
God knew you long before you were born, just as
He knew Isaiah and Jeremiah. He thought about you and
planned for you! For He wanted someone just like you,
therefore you are very special to Him. After all God has
said; "BEFORE I FORMED YOU IN THE WOMB I KNEW
YOU, BEFORE YOU WERE BORN I SET YOU APART."
( JEREMIAH 1:5 )
So when you feel discouraged or inadequate, remember
that God has always thought of you as very special. He is
always with you and He loves you dearly, and nothing can
separate you from that love! FOR I AM CONVINCED THAT
NEITHER DEATH NOR LIFE, NEITHER ANGELS NOR
DEMONS, NEITHER THE PRESENT NOR THE FUTURE,
NOR POWERS, NEITHER HEIGHT NOR DEPTH, NOR
ANYTHING ELSE IN ALL CREATION, WILL BE ABLE TO
SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD THAT IS IN
CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD. ( ROMANS 8:38-39 )
So -------, never feel that you are unloved, or let one of
life's many discouragements set you back, but BE
CONFIDENT OF THIS, THAT HE WHO BEGAN A GOOD
WORK IN YOU WILL CARRY IT OUT TO COMPLETION
UNTIL THE DAY OF CHRIST JESUS. Amen.
( PHILIPPIANS 1:6 )
With My Love & Prayers,
