I'm 5'6 too. I used to weigh 156 and I looked a bit chunky. I think around 130 is an ideal weight for someone that height. I weigh 125 now myself. I became a vegetarian and I practice yoga. I lost 30 pounds in about 4 months. Just pace yourself with how much you lose. Good luck! :)

According to Source 1, a Body Mass Index, you are slightly overweight. If you look and feel fine, don't worry about it, but it may be best to lose a few pounds for health's sake.

If you look good, and feel good, you are fine. Ok, let me modify this a bit, you are technically on the line. If you lost 5-10lbs, you would be right where the charts indicate you should be.

Not too much over weight. Depends too on your age. If at least in early twenties , it is not too heavy.

If you feel you don't need to lose weight then you are fine. But if you want to it wouldn't hurt.

Yes. According to BMI, you are at risk of becoming over weight. It would be a good idea to lose some weight, especially as you are young and still developing.
