Someone pull the plug?

Yahoo is working on building a bigger better site for its amazing customers so while you feel its your computers fault it is actually the Yahoo Gods who are torturing you. It will be ok shortly for us who need our messenger fix, if you've already got the shakes here's a secret, change your 'connection preferences' to 'firewall without proxie' and magically you get onto yahoo messenger, though youll be booted often at first. Messenger should be up and running like normal in about an hour... yeah right.

There was an intermittent login issue last night, June 22nd, that affected many of the Yahoo! Messenger users (and some Yahoo! Mail users). While it wasn’t an issue to login to Yahoo! Answers, as you can see that those affected by the login issue were able to come on here and ask questions, some Yahoo! sites/products were affected. However, because I have premium (paid) Yahoo! services (i..e. Yahoo! Voice) I was able to chat online with the Yahoo! support team and just learned the problem is now solved and the total downtime was only 2 hours. We can now all login to Yahoo! websites and Yahoo! Messenger.

just go to internet options delete the cookies, and internet and temporary files then go to C and program files, yahoo, Messenger and delete cache and delete profiles, folders then delete the trash can plz re start the pc and will work ok, good luck

Think yahoo messenger is down as i cant log in also

sometimes messenger just does that to you! i hate it too dunt worry you r not alone! sometimes the messenger server is wayyy full so they have to kick some people out. it seems you and i are now their number one target!!

you may have a virus, run a virus scan, and if that does'nt work then delete all your temporary files and see what happens.
