Why do people bother asking questions on here that they know will be removed by Yahoo?
Is it just for attention? Are they really stupid enough to not realize that they're violating the rules? Some of the questions on here are so blatantly racist or sexual in nature that the person can't possibly think their question will stay up. Or can they?

Some people just refuse to yield to rules and regulations. There is no avoiding these people.There are plenty of them in the world.

I think it is either for attention or to try to get one by on Yahoo!. There is a chance, however slight, that they want a real answer to a real question like that. Personally, I think they are all immature kids doing stupid stuff, but thats just me...

Some it's for shock value. For others they just never bothered to read the rules. Some are just plain stupid.

They can. The Yahoo! Answers Team could care less about deleting questions that are against the community guidelines.

I have answered questions that are only seconds old, so these people must know that there questions will be there long enough to be seen (and shock?) at least a few people.

Because they don't care what the rules say. I suppose some of them are stupid and ignorant, but most of them most know the rules.

yes they know the rules.... but of course they don't care... they want to shock,and insult others... if only for a little while... till its removed... and if they get kicked off , they just start a new identity... and begin again... and yes they are stupid/ ignorant... only because you would have to be to think like that and spread such hatred to begin with....

Freedom of speech probabaly. I've seen some pretty bad questions get left on here and had some pretty soft ones get pulled off.
