I have been invited to attend a Wiccaning. I am not a member of the coven but am pagan and friends with most everyone in the coven. Is it appropriate to bring a gift? What sort?

I just began dabbling abit in Astrology and tried comparing my planet positions that I came up with using good old math and a book to the positions provided in some on line software. My positions were pretty much on the money but, the software places a 10th planet for charting named Lilith? What sun sign does Lilith govern? Is this the other Pluto-sized planet that was discovered a few years back or another celestial body?

As I was watching the meteor shower last night I got to wondering why it is the meteor shower does not tear up the international space station? Is it that the amount of meteors vs the size of the space station just makes an impact unlikely or ???

The person I am working out with is becoming concerned that there's something wrong with be because I am not becoming sore the day after working out. I am pushing myself, the last set is definitely hard to finish, just not getting sore. Now, one difference between me and my partner is they get 7-8 hours sleep a night, my job has me getting 3 to 4 hours a night. Does this in any way contribute to my not getting sore because my muscles are either active for longer periods of time or they're not getting the regenerative time they need in sleeping?

I shall not be signing my answers any longer with "Pantheistic Pagan" - Pantheist, you're welcome.... but, to make this a valid question: Does that title bother anyone else?

I'm looking for a word to describe a room where drinks are made. Think of like a store where you could combine whatever non-alcoholic ingredients you want to make your own drink. What would you call such a store?

She stated that atheists don't spend any time thinking about the fact that their time as a conscioius being is finite. - I assumed you did think about it and that through personal strength you came to peace with this knowledge. If I understand her right you just simply don't think about it or care about it at all? Which is it?

I can't look at streaming video at work to find out. And it seems to be mentioned in quite a few R&S questions.

When I walked out my front door this morning to head to work. I had two birds about the size of sparrows with black heads and orangish bellies twittering and flying within an arms length of my head. They continued to circle and flutter in front of my face till I made my way to my truck in the driveway. I am assuming they have a nest on my porch somewhere. So, what kind of birds were they and am I going to be able to cohabitate with them or will they just get more aggressive when their eggs hatch? I live in Minnesota in case that helps ID the bird type.
