Spell book?
Has anyone heard of the spell that involves burying an onion upside down? It's to keep people out of your house. Just wondering.

Hmmm i thought it was rub a half a potato on a wart and bury it so the wart will go away. There are so many spells out there and as wiccans we are encouraged to make up our own spells. then see by trial and error if they work. I did bury a penny under the first step we laid toward our new houses door though, still waiting for prosperity to come on in. Well I have a home and a loving man, what more can i want?

Google found this:
A cure involved peeling an onion in a house where a sick person lay, and then burying the onion far from the house; it was believed that the onion would draw germs and diseases into itself and then carry them from the house.
Wow, Google can find anything.

It might work if you replaced all the grass in your yard with onions... of course, some people like onions and would come visit in the hope that you would share... so it might not work after all. You're better off with a good deadbolt, IMO.
