Whats up with the Royals?!!!!!!?
I just got home from seeing my Royals in Kansas City (I'm a California girl). They won four of five games while I was there. They have won the last three series and I think they are 7-2 (not too sure) in there last three series.I am so excited just to be winning for a change!!!!What do you think is causing it.Their new general manager just made his first major trade. How long do you think this whole winning thing will last because I am just enjoying it right now!

A California girl who's a Royals fan? I bet there's an interesting story behind that...BTW, thanks I'm glad you liked my RBI answer....I'm a KC guy who is a Cardinals/Dodgers/Royals/MLB fan, its been kind of rough the past 15 years pulling for the Royals....BTW my Fav all time team is the 1953 Brooklyn Dodgers, and no I didn't actually see them play...I'm just into Baseball history....
I think the Royals have won 8 of their last 11 but I would not count on them making a habit of this...The Royals are really-really bad...Their starting pitching is horrible and the bullpen is a nightmare ..I don't think the trade for Joey Gathwright(sp?) is going to save them...Though it's fun to watch him run the bases...Almost reminds one of Willie Wilson, "almost" the small difference being, Wilson a one time AL batting champion could actually hit....
Be nice to see a really good team in KC again...Imagine if someone could put together an outfield with J. Dye in Right, C. Beltran in Center and J. Damon in Left...The Royals management has made one terrible decision after another when it comes to player moves...Hope the new GM can right the ship...
Go Royals - Please win more games than the 1962 Mets :)<

Well theres an old saying.... "even a blind squirrell eventually finds a nut" meaning that even a team as bad as KC will even have a win streak at SOME point. I wouldn't get too excited though they are still not a very good team.. they don't have the right mix of veterans and rookies. Enjoy them winning right now, and I think that baseball is better when the Royals are contenders, they rocked in the 80's!! Im a white sox fan till I die, just thought i'd throw that in, im really riding high these days! I even named my cat Sox!

It's good to see them win a few games.
I am happy for them.
As a Tiger fan, I endured that horrid 2003 season (119 losses), so I can feel your pain.
They still finish dead last though.
But have faith...if The Tigers can turn it around so can KC.
It'll take a few years though....be patient and keep supporting the team that you love....you will be rewarded one day.

Enjoy the ride while you are on it. The reality is that the Royals are a bad team and on undoubtedly their best streak of the season right now.

who knows...but their new general manager is the protege of John Schuerholz (former Royals GM) and from the Braves organization...so maybe everything has come full circle. I hope he can turn the Royals around for the better and I hope that John Schuerholz has something else up his sleeve for Atlanta.

Being a Tiger's fan, I feel sorry that your team stinks and will continue to stink.
