I like the fact that the mountains are really pretty but it has been too commercialized. It doesn't seem like a quiet relaxing vacation anymore just rush streets and not as clean as it use to be.

It is a total tourist trap with horrid traffic. Now, after having said that, there is alot of stuff to do in the area and the scenery is fantastic. If you are into crowds and touristy places, you will love it there. If you want to experience the smokies without the crowds, check out some of the other less popular mountain towns.
