HEY "NORTH AMERICANS"... I have some humor for you regarding who is legal & who is not!!!?

When NASA was preparing for the Apollo project, it did some astronaut training on a Navajo Indian reservation.

One day, a Navajo elder and his son were herding sheep and came across the space crew. The old man, who spoke only Navajo, asked a question which his son translated. "What are these guys in the big suits doing?"

A member of the crew said they were practicing for their trip to the moon. The old man got all excited and asked if he could send a message to the moon with the astronauts.

Recognizing a promotional opportunity for the spin-doctors, the NASA folks found a tape recorder. After the old man recorded his message, they asked his son to translate it. He refused. So the NASA reps brought the tape to the reservation, where the rest of the tribe listened and laughed but refused to translate the elder's message to the moon.

Finally, the NASA crew called in an official government translator. He reported that the message said, "Watch out for these guys; they have come to steal your land."

    This is a very neat and funny stroy.

    Unfortuantely, this is the way it has always been. The country that wins the wars, makes the laws, no matter how rediculous they may be. Might is right. I'm not saying it is right but that is the way it has been happening since as far back as we can go in recorded history. Even the Native Americans did that to eachother. That is why they could not form a United front in fighting the European setllers off. It is better to deal with what you can do today than to lament about yesterday.

    i'm sorry, but if you go way way back, i'm pretty sure that everyone on earth came from one place, and it's not america...more like asia...

    my point is...it's not who's legal and who's not by the native american ways...it's who comes into this country the right way, and who robs it...

    we all stole land from someone...but now a days, there's no need to be sneaky, and try and steal money from people. we're supposed to be civilized human beings...so why sneak around? that's why most of us from the u.s.a are complaining about illegal immigrants. we feel that they're stealing from us, and of course we're going to fight back.

    and by the way...i'm 1/2 pequot...and 1/2 italian...
