Can I freeze fresh Mints Leaves?
I bought from fresh mint a few days ago, and I do not want it to go bad. Can I freeze fresh mints leaves? If so, How? Thanks!!

Yes. Wash and dry individual leaves, place in a single layer on a tray, cover with clingfilm and freeze until solid. Transfer to small plastic bags or containers and return to the freezer where they’ll keep for several months.

This is great with kebabs, or even as an unusual salad dressing. If you've still got lots of leaves, I would make up a double batch. Also good on wraps with leftover roast chicken. Mint Yoghurt Raita: 1 cup plain yoghurt 2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves, finely chopped salt and pepper to season

I just asked my mother about your question since she cooks a lot. We use mint all the time and you can freeze it. The leaves obviously will not be as crisp but they will hold their flavor. If you like you can blend them up and make a chutney sort of thing. That is what we usually do. It's easy to store and adds a great flavor to meats and other dishes.

try, dipping in boiling water about 10 seconds, drain, individually layer with paper towels, freeze

They look very pretty in cubes of ice...or just separate them from the main stem and put something flat on top of them so that they stay flat...

yes freeze them in a single layer then bag them this way they won't stick together in a clump

in a little brown lunch bag but wrap them up in a dry paper towel then put them in a brown paper bag they last for quiet a while.

Yes, just make sure they are tightly wrapped so they don't get freezer burn.
