Endlessly girls complain that men are after their body and not them. Well then why tan, wear micro skirts???

Its like putting a treasure in front of theif to capture him stealing it. Can't u girls decide whether u want men to concentrate on ur skin that u so much care about and want to show off or your mind which u inadvertently hide beneath those makeups and attitude?

Update:

Stephy, my apologies. Pehaps my analogy didn't get right with u. Its loose analogy. If they would have been object to me, would I ask this question?

Anyways, got some good answers but still I think something practical is missing.

Because some girls may be a little insecure and they know the only way to get a male to talk to them is if they flaunt it all. Guys these days set very high standards for what a "real" woman should be. And maybe the girl likes to wear miniskirts. SHe should be able to wear whatever she wants without worrying about comments and hoots and hollers from pigs a.k.a men. And we can wear makeup and have an attitude and still have brains. You are obviously clueless to what a woman is made of.

Would you honestly be interested in a girl in a t-shirt and sweats? or a shapeless sack? The fact that a woman might dress in things that enhance her looks doesn't necessarily mean she wants you to steal her. Try and rise above and look on a woman turned out in her finest duds as a piece of art to be enjoyed by all instead of stolen and hidden away by some dragon of a man intent on augmenting his hoarde. And before you say how can you call a woman an object? Grow up! Its just an attempt to explain things to you so that you can understand since you obviously don't understand women!

I blame it on the media. It is directed so much toward young girls and women being thin and wearing next to nothing (especially models) that women feel they have to be that way in order for guys to want them. Women who wear heavy makeup and minnie skirts don't care that men only want their body. You should not lump all women into that category. I for one, think it's disgusting to strut around in a minnie skirt and let your butt hang out for everyone to see. But at the same time I try to dress in a way that compliments my figure and makes me look sophisticated. You should try to find a woman like this.

Look, most of us want a guy who likes us for our mind, but it's easier to attract u if we wear mico mini's and tan our skin. U don't easily pick up on intellectual stimulation. We try to intice u with our minds, all the while u guys stare at a paris hilton look-a-like and dress a-like because unlike us, she doesn't have a brain, so she HAS to show off her only asset, her body!!!!!!!! So once we have u with our knock-out bodies, we try to keep u with our banging minds!

A woman should be able to feel good about herself without men automatically assuming that they want to be hit on. Women are not objects, and a girl who looks good is not something for men to play with.

Hmmm...maybe you should take a look at WHY women act the way they do. Its because SOCIETY demands that they dress and act a certain way, or they're not "women" or desirable or sexy or even human beings.

Blame society, not the girls. It's like blaming a rape victim for the actions of her attacker.

    Backward.

via fact society as an entire has made the imaginitive and prescient of a woman and undergarments a sort of taboo..thats why your greater apt to be certain a guy in his boxers over a woman in her panties/bra on a television series ect. taboo, basically such as you notice 2 ladies in college retaining palms you dont pay it lots interest, yet you notice 2 men retaining palms your struggling with and staring.

concentrate on both, tell them that they look great and that they have a great personality, that would totally work for me. And girls wear mini skirts so they can look sexy and get your attention, and if they wear those and say that you concentrate on their bodies instead of what's inside than... well... they need to get their heads straight.

I agree...I don't wear micro-minis...I tan SOME but not much...

I want a guy to think I'm pretty AND smart, and not just care about my body!!

i think most girls feel that way because if they meet a guy in a club or @ a party and all the guy is interested in is getting the girl to bed and not focusing on the girl herself and her interests
