Traveling Alone?
Have you ever taken a vacation on your own?
I'm considering it....but a little concerned over safety...I'm a 26 year old female...especially overseas. I travel alone for work quite frequently though, but it's all within the U.S., and I usually know where I'm going and who I'm meeting up with.
Did you have fun? Where did you go? Where do you find travel groups?

it is better to travel alone, and make friends along the way with other traveller... spontaneous trips, fun.

I have traveled alone or with a young child to 32 different countries, starting in 1971. Never had a moment's trouble. The people who do seem to have problems are those who leave their common sense at baggage claim! Just be as sensible as you would be in any big US city. Most other countries are far safer than the US.

Know the language, follow your gut and you should be fine. Traveling independently can be fun. Just remember that no one has your back so you need to be cautious.

if you don't know the language, a guy can invite you up to his room, are you ready for that?
