Hearts & Flowers?
Does anyone know the real name of the suculant that some people refer to as "hearts & flowers"? I need to know how to care for them, but I cannot find any information under that name.

'Aptenia cordifolia' is sometimes called red apple as well
grows best in the full sun but does like a little afternoon shade.
as the sun can bleach the foliage and can require more watering.
It grows quite easily and can be propogated from a cutting.
likes poor soil which is well drained.
Apparently if it is let out of a pot it can become invasive and
is a declared weed in California.
I have given you two links below one from the Meditteranean
Garden Society and the other about the Californian laws on this
plant/weed
If you want to grow it just keep it contained in a pot and you
should have no problem.
Like a lot of weeds they can be pretty and this is what
attracts us to them.
In one country they are considered a cultivated plant and in
another they are considered a weed as they like the conditions
too much and can take over.

Aptenia cordifolia is the scientific name. Looks like they need some shade, and like all succulents are drought tolerant, so don't over water! Check out the link below too - hopefully it will help.
