Is baiting Christians a sin?

I don't think so. I'm a Christian and I sometimes take the bait and get all riled up and sometimes I just laugh my a$$ off at the other Christians, who, like my dumb-butt took the bait.

We have control over our emotions and can choose what battles to pick. If we do get worked up over your bait--then its our own dumb faults.

I have an agnostic friends, and we rib the crap out of eachother. He calls me a sheep, I tell him he's going to hell. But we are friends. I pray for him, and he doesn't take it personal.

Trying to hurt anyone is immoral, whether they're Jews,Christians, Muslims or anyone else. Anyway I think you know the answer. There are so many angry people who are quite willing to blame their rage on some other group when it's nothing to do with that group. Try to see past your indoctrination (very difficult I know. Easier to play the blame game) Use your intelligence and think for yourself and you'll make the world a better place!

No. Sin is a motivational tool only, not an actuality. Dismiss christianity/organized religion as the fallacy it is and sin becomes nonessential social control tactic.

I think it could be depending on what they were being baited for. I am not a christian so I don't really know it is just a guess.

Baiting Christians is probably a good thing to do. It gives us a chance to have a dialogue with you, and possibly jostle your closed minds and hearts.

i iz onlie batin cuz thuh aythee issts make meee. rowr. heavily, notwithstanding, there is distinct baiting on both part. I try now to not, inspite of if i believe "provoked." i'd a lot truly play with the trolly baiters like my cat performs including her mouse toys.

It is fun to "Bait" Christians! Espacially when they get that "Holier Than Thou" attitude and start judging your deeds in life. That is when the Bible starts getting quoted by them..... but, I like to quote it, too...... just to disprove their quotes. Quite entertaining actually! They usually leave with a sense of insignificance.

But assuming the Christian doctrine is correct, I would seriously doubt it. Even in the worst (or best) case, if you cause someone to renounce their faith in God, that would be their choice and I still don't think it would count against you.
