Try this cheap trap. In a clean one gallon milk jug, cut two or three holes in the shoulders of the jug about 3/8 to 1/2 inch, triangular. Pierce the jug cap to accept wire. Bend a loop on each side of the cap and a hook on the inside of the cap. Hang a small ball of hamburger on the hook. Place about an inch of water in the bottom of the jug, add a couple drops of dish soap. Hang the jug by the top wire about 15 ft. from the pool, inconspicuously, between the pool and the source of flies. Good luck.

Glass of red wine (fortunately if you are not a red wine drinker, you can buy cheap - apparently they don't care) As an added trick, put two sided tape in the inside upper rim of the cup. Oooo yeah and DON'T use good wine glases - get disposable ones or your significant other may just trap you : )

Victor makes a answer this is blended with water and placed in a sparkling plastic jar with a undeniable tent over the lid that has 4 holes for the fly to circulate slowly into. The smell is amazingly gentle however the flies like it and are seen flying around the in the jar till now they expire. in case you have equestrian shops on your section that's a reliable place to start up. you're welcome

Hang up clear bags filled with water. Flys are freaked out by them and stay away.
