Use 2 x 8 lumber spaced 16 in O.C. Headers____ Joists_____ Total board feet________ Thanks for any help you can offer

Update:

Now another question? Estimate the amount of subflooring required for the floor frame described in the previous question. Provide figures for both 8in. shiplap and 5/8 x 4 x 8 sheets of plywood.

    It would take 25 - 12' 2x8's for joists and 4 - 16' 2x8's for headers

Part 2: 12 sheets of plywood.

First of all, 2 x 8's aren't adequate for joists and wouldn't pass inspection. You don't mention whether the floor will sit on a slab foundation (in which case 2 x 8's might work) or over a crawl space. Are you just concerned with the floor framing or the walls too? Headers for what? Usually the term "header" refers to windows and doors.

64 lineal feet of headers, 25 joists at 11' 9" Total board feet 477
