Besides bragging rights, are there any benefits to getting on the All Star roster?

Lots of players receive financial bonuses if they make the All-Star team. Plus, having an All-Star appearance on your resume gives you a good bargaining chip in negotiating future contracts.

So far, nobody has mentioned endorsements. The corporates LOVE All-Star players and this game is where they go get em. Some of these guys can or will make more money on this than they will on the field. Crazy isn't it?
