Reading all the mindnumbing stupid reactions of all the creationists and other religious zelots. I hope YOUR god is going to give it a second try very soon because this time he realy made a mess of it.

My two cents: there never was a creation because everything always was, learn to accept infinity as a reality. Unfortunately most people still can't get there tiny brains arround it.

Have serious doubts about the big bang theory myself, the big bang is beginning to sound more and more like just an other exploding black hole. And I know about the 2-3 Kelvin microwave background radiation, but there could be an other reason for that one (I think).

By the way the person who answered that the "inventor" of the Big Bang theory retracted his theory is talking out of the wrong orrifice.

The first person to launch the Big Bang theory was a priest called Georges-Henri Lemaitre, born in Charleroi, Belgium on 17 July 1894. And pretty much dead before he ever could have retracted his theory. DO YOUR HOMEWORK FOLKS !

I just realized something. When they say that Creation took 6 days... What constitutes a "day"? For us earthlings it's the time it took for earth to revolve around the sun... but how would that work if there was no earth or sun to begin with? Oh, another way in which the bible does not make sense.

Actually the scientist that thought of the big bang theory has since retracted...his reasoning being flawed.

Creation has not stopped....there is constant evolution of thought, of body, of spirit.

Oh my gosh, believe the Bible people! 6 days. big bang is just a made up story no evidence to prove it, whereas many people have witnessed the miracles of the Bible, thats how it got written. For those of u who think u can believe in the Bible and evolution, the Bible says you every word was inspired by God, so if you dont believe in one part , you cant believe the rest of it. you cant straddle the fence on this one. either you believe, or you dont. I choose to believe.

well the big bang was as fast as an explosion, since it was a huge explosion. but creation took a lot longer. it took millions and billions of years for the elements to evolve and stars to be created. so long that i couldn't imagine.

one more thing, how did the bible ever prove any of its points? its easy for the religious leader to just say ********, but its not easy for scientists to prove their point. because they do it the right way, the hard way.

this is for those people who area against science.
