The short answer- probably. You need to do two things- size the transformer properly & check the air conditioner after you start running it.

Sizing is done by reading the data plate on the air conditioner, to get current draw- it will say "110V 60Hz 10A" or similar. Multiply the Volts (110) by the Amps (10 in example) and round upwards to determine the transformer size. They are sized in "VA". In the example this would be 110 x 10 = 1,100, transformer would be 1.5 Kva (kilo volts x amps).

After you start the air conditioner, you might have problems because of the 50Hz, it makes motors run hotter for the same work. If it overheats, you've wasted the money you spent on the transformer.

rapid ck for the battery: placed your hand on the area of the batt and if warm to touch it has an inner short, have it regular by ability of a batt load attempt. Have the alt checked decrease than a load, even new ones fail. clean the batt cables and posts, corrosion of any type create resistance and retards the skill to fee or perform the device. additionally might desire to be the volt regulator interior the sprint gage yet much less in all hazard.

Probably but you'll be chewing up a lot of energy losses in the process... and you better make sure that transformer can handle the current surges when a hot compressor clicks on...

It is probably cheaper just to buy one that uses that supply - they'll be way more efficient...

Well, you know, I came from the Philippines and their power usage there is 220. I plan to go there and build a house for myself using electronics from the United States which uses 110 power. So, I'm going to have to get a transformer to plug in to my electronics and use it. It works. We've always done it that way in the Philippines.

Depends on the transformer and the supply amperage
