There is the boardwalk (the strip), the beach, some okay hotels. I fins it boring, but I live here.

Depends what you are looking to do...it has changed a lot in the last 20 years......more stuff to do but they don't allow cruising on the strip . If you are looking for just a beach vacation go to the outer banks in NC .......there isn't a boardwalk but it is a much nicer beach and there is a lot to do if you don't mind driving. It might be cheaper to rent a house for a week in NC than it is to get a hotel room in Virginia Beach. Like I said, depends on what you are interested in doing.
