Who feels bad for Cindy Sheehan?
At first I discounted her as just another Liberal nut. But now I am really concerned for her because I think she need real, proffesional psycological help. She has gone well beyond "lost-it". They should send out the looney waggon and put her in a crazy jacket.
What is going to happen when nobody puts her on TV anymore? The Dem's already kicked her to the curb after she didn't work for them, what happens when the media discards her? She is going to snap big-time.

Frankly I don't feel bad for her at all. She's whored out her son's memory for cheap publicity for her whacko uber-Liberal agenda, and now it's all backfired on her. I do agree she's gone nuts though... who knows...maybe losing her son caused something to snap. One thing's for sure... she's not newsworthy anymore, and totally irrelevant, and it has to be a huge blow to her.

Cindy Sheehan lost her child, which is sad. She then lost her mind, and actually became a disgrace to the memory of her son!
When she is no longer able to be used by the liberals, they will abandon her. She has made choices that I do not believe are correct. She may well end up in a mental health facility. I just hope that it is not at the expense of the taxpayers.

I think that this woman has taken up a Just and noble cause. People should stop trying to judge her so harshly, as she lost her son regardless in a war that very very few even understand, and even fewer can give substantial reason for that we can agree on! Even the regime that started the war in Iraq cannot give the true reason for this war, or our continued participation in it. Now our true enemies are developing, and testing true weapons of mass destruction, and we are too invested in this quagmire of a war to really be able to do anything about North Korea or Iran!

i support her attempt to do what she feels is right and war is always wrong.
When i hear the word sell and war togheter in the same sentence it real boiles my blood.
I do not look at war as having to be sold to america ,it is right ,or wrong, on its merits ,not mob mentality led by the administration .
APPERENTLY we needed more then facts we needed a good sales pitch and the admin went to work and fialy got enough support just like a used car salesman does .
I have lost complete respect for america since it bought the war and later is suffering from a bad case of buyers remorse.Had anyone bothered to look at the reason behind the Iraq attack as many americans did but were ignored we could of avoided 2 trillion dollars wasted in a region that will never have peace no matter what.
Terror is the poor mans weapon to get his point across and failing to listen to them for 30 years has resulted in this type of retaliation for crimes america has commited in the name of spreading democracy.
Iraq did not want a war with the U.S. in the 90's as seen by there laying down arms and leaving kuwait who had been stealing the Iraq's oil by slant drilling at the border and set them ablaze rather then have them continue to steal from them .
THERE is strong support for sheehan if not directly then by millions of americans who she has not sold yet to become active in supporting the withdrawl of troops.
I have the feeling the same way we have 30,000 troops in germany we will have troops in Iraq for a long time and the civil unrest of the region will plague us for the next 20 years .

Here's a woman that is against the war that killed her son. I find nothing strange in that. Would you speak out against a war that YOUR son was fighting in. Remember, her son was in the military before GB decided to throw our country under the bus & send us to Iraq. He joined to take out Bin Laden. (Remember him?) Yeah, he's still sending out tapes, while we sacrifice our boys in another part of the world. I was there the first time for Desert Storm & know what kind of rathole that place is. Maybe some of you should put your money where your mouths are & enlist!!!

As a gold star mom Cindy Sheehan deserves our unending respect just as her pain is unending. That however does not mean we have to agree with her political statements or her methods of protest. Most importantly, the media portrays her as the only gold star mom, lets not forget the other 2,500 plus moms who know the same pain and have not politicized the death of their child.

I'm sorry she lost her son who's undoubtedly an American hero. I don't, however, support her liberals agenda using her son's death.
Her son knew what he voluntarily signed up for with the military : the possibility of being called up for war.
Again, I'm sorry for the death of her son. But, totally disagree with her calling the President a liar & accusing US soldiers as muderers. It's a disgrace to her son's sacrifice.

As a wife of a service man....and a mother, I can understand her pain in losing her son. That said, I don't believe she is going about this in the right manner. Does she think she is the only one who has lost someone in this war? Her extremism is going to be her downfall. Now she is on a hunger strike in front of the white house to gain more sympathy for her cause. Remember back to Vietnam and what we did to our servicemen and women when we turned our back on them and refused to acknowledge the war they were fighting. Let"s not turn our back again!

I think she needs professional help as well, but I do not feel bad for her. She is disgracing her son by degrading what he lived and died for. Casey choose to be in the military. He knew the risks. She should respect that.

I'm sorry she lost her kid, but wonder why she didn't consider that a choice he consciously made for volunteering and taking pay for being in the armed services?
No one was drafted in this war.
I think she is trying to appease her own guilt at not stopping him, or something.
I feel badly for any parent who loses a child, but I think she is targeting her loss inappropriately.

Yeah, in a way i fell sorry for her. but she brought it all upon herself by becoming so incredibly far to the left. dems to want to be associated with such a hard lined individual. in an election year, they can hardly afford it. buyt she does need mental help. know any good phyciatrists?
