One God or three Gods??

I mean no offense to any one, just looking for opinions.

Christian Religions have many differances but there is a major break on one point. Some believe that there are three Gods. The Father, The Son (Jesus) And the Holy Spirit. Then you have One Namers. Saying Jesus (in the spirit) is the Father, His Flesh is the Son and after He was assended He came back as the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Said If you have seen me you have seen the Father.

the Bible also says In the beginning there was the Word, The Word was With God and the Word was God and the Word was Made Flesh. Then it said the Holy Spirit over shadow Mary. So then who is the real Father.

What do you Guys think????

Thanks for the input up front.

One true God, consisting of three parts- the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

"How can this be?" My Sunday school pupils ask the same thing. The answer I always give them is: I am a father to my children, a son to my parents, a brother to my siblings, a husband to my wife, an uncle, a cousin, a grandson, a nephew, a teacher, a student, a farmer, a carpenter, a blood donor, a National Guardsman, a baseball coach, and a Boy Scout leader. I am only one person.

There is one God, and a very good case can be made for that (I just don't remeber what it is well enough to say here, sorry, hehe). Anyways, there is one God, three persons. They all exist eternally and together. The Holy Spirit is not the Father, the Father is not the Son, and the Son is not the Holy Spirit, and any other combination you can think of. But the Holy Spirit is God, and the Father is God, and the Son is God. It's kinda like water, ice, steam, and liquid water are all water, but ice, steam, and liquid are not the same thing. Hope that helps. Oh, and as for the case for it, I think J.P. Moorland might be the guy (one of the) who made that case. Not sure though.

    Edit:

Jesus did say he was God, during his trial. The reason they killed him was for blashpemy (among other things) because he said he was God. "I and the Father are one" (can't remember the reference on that one).

ok, there have always been and always will be one god in the form of three entities. There is God the Father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit. If you research the Bible you will find out that it was the son (Jesus) who came to earth to be crucified as a perfect sacrifice for all humanity. While Jesus was on the cross He said, "My God My God why hast thou forsaken me?" this was talking to God the father as He pured out the punishment needed for all our sins. When Christ prepared to ascend into heaven he said that he could no longer be with them but that He would leave a helper to give them guidance in the form of the Holy Spirit. So there are three entities who act together as one God. It's like an apple, there are three parts to an apple the seeds, the flesh, and the skin, each piece has to come together to form the apple but they each have their separate properties.

Three seperate personages. The Father, The Son, The Holy Ghost. First two, have bodies of flesh. The Holy Ghost of Spirit. They are all Gods. They are One with the Father in purpose. The first God the Father is the God of Creation, His son Jesus, or Jehovah, is the Son, who came to earth on a mission to bring us back to the Fathers presence. The third, with a personage of Spirit is the testifier to our hearts of truth. Seeing we are all children of our Father in heaven we will one day have the opportunity to create worlds and become Gods if we are found worthy to be in the Fathers presence.

there is only one God. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one in the same. Jesus is God in the flesh. the Holy Spirit lives in us after we get saved.

Well here is my answer. Jesus is God and God is Jesus. The father is God in heaven, Jesus was God as man on earth, and the holy spirit is God hand, its what fills the people who exsept his son. So really the 3 is 1.

One God, three persons. There is God the Father, there is God the Son, and there is God the Holy Spirit. All three make up GOD. You will never understand it-don't even try.

I believe in one person God Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) not split personalities of the trinity that is a babylonian doctrine "mystery"

Jesus in the Bible never claimed to be equal to God and that cements my belief because of the many stumpers

If Jesus was God then who raised him from the dead? If Jesus was God then where was God when Mary was pregnant for 9 months? If Jesus was God then who was he praying to? If Jesus was God then how could Satan tempt him? God said he cannot be tempted to sin, Satan of course would know this and not waste his time. Also if Jesus was God why would Satan offer him the kingdoms of the world? Hardly much to offer a God of all creation! The miserly excuses that God in the flesh is weak is a poor and insulting - Jesus who was a faithful servant to God (which Jesus refered himelf as) proved that even flesh could be loyal and sinless as proved. The logic biblical truths defies the trinity, God says there is only one true God and he refers to one person not three persons in one. Satan has made you believe the lie like he did to Eve in Eden. All Satan needs to do is make you believe the lie no matter what the truth is put before you.

God wanted through the bible to revealed himself to mankind not mystify himself so mankind could not know and he gave mankind the ability to understand. This unknowable mystery of the trinity is a lie; a falsehood and a design by Satan to confuse the world about the truth of our Creator.

Three. Because why would God have a split personality. When Jesus was baptised who said, "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased."? Jesus didn't ascend into Heaven to declare that to himself did he?

As for the others who wrote zero. Do you believe in an afterlife? If not then what is the point of being here on earth?
