Portugal Cheated? And Final Thoughts?
Two questions. First, I keep hearing people say Portugal cheated...I taped all of the games, and could someone please point out to me exactly where/when they did this cheating? And secondly, what are your final thoughts on the tournament before the final tomorrow(today for some of you)?

First of all, let me start by saying that I'm Portuguese.
Did some Portuguese players tried to fool the refs? Yes!
Objectively, was that the reason why they reached the semis? No!
I'm not dignifying the entire England and Rooney subject! It was a publicity stunt supported by a few opportunistic people and I believe it does not reflect the English position at all!
As for the World Cup itself, I would say that there were a few enjoyable games and a few great ones, like England Vs Portugal and Germany VS Italy, among others. All in all, it wasn't the greatest ever but it still justified all the sleep I lost over it. I live in Macao (China), and we're 7 hours ahead of Germany's time!
France Vs Italy? I'm hoping for a great and emotional game and may the best team win!!!

Few outside Portugal will feel sympathy with Ronaldo
Ronaldo's first touch in the opening seconds against France was greeted with a shattering and genuinely shocking chorus of jeers from all parts of a 66,000 capacity crowd.
This was not just English fans turning on Ronaldo - France fans happily joined in, and many other nations represented could also have played their part.
The sorry chapter in this saga is that Ronaldo showed again against France that there is a potentially stunning talent attempting to escape from the variety of feints, step-overs and dives that are a blot on his landscape.
Ronaldo may have cried in Munich - unfortunately for him and his talent, many others were laughing.
Ronaldo's future in England as a footballer is dead. Spain might offer the 21-year old a chance to redeem himself.

In the game against Germany ... Pauleta screamed to the referee that Germany's defender committed a handball. Obviously trying to cheat cause he knew so darn well that there was no handball!!!
Then there was Cristiano Ronaldo fell, acted like he was tackled .. but replay from different angle showed that no one even touched him!!!
