If the two pc's are close to each other connect them with network cards and a crossover cable. they are all fairly cheap and available at any computer store. then follow the networking wizard in windows network setup.

Safest way is to get a small hub ($29.00 or less on ebay)
and ehternet cards that ran about $1 each, for Intel with the
boot prom for PXE booting, and cables were $1 at Dollar Tree, though now, I make my own, having spent about $59 for 500 feet of Cat5e wire and the crimpers, ends,tester, boots,...

you pick a crossover community cable to connect 2 computers instantly, in the different case use a change/hub!? once you've the crossover cable and this nevertheless does no longer tutor a connection then you definately may have a defective cable, in case your cable is fantastic then i propose you examine the gadget manager on your pc to analyze your community playing cards are put in wisely. if no longer then uninstall and reinstall! desire this facilitates!

what operating systems are in them?
do they have network cards?
do you have some money to buy some cheap componants that you might need to to what you want to do?

THIS IS SIMPLE JUST MAKE AN X - OVER CABLE ALSO KNOWN AS A CROSS OVER CABLE. THATS ALL AND U ARE THERE.
