What product would you suggest for cleaning hardwood floors?
I am looking for a product that you have tried personally and have been very satisfied with. Something that will remove dust, dirt, and pet hair, and leave the floor clean.
Thanks!

Have you ever tried ammonia? This is great for everything. (Read the label carefully). You might want to add a bit of pine sol for a more refreshing smell. As for polishing, use future shine. You could get this at walmart or your local grocery store. Trust me, it works. My friends admire my floor.

We had a house with very nice and old original wood floors. We checked with a business in the yellow pages for what you need... It many years ago and product that we used was purchased at this business and worked wonders on the wood floors, do not recall the name or brand, but this was many years back. Call the numbers you will find in the yellow pages, the type of cleaners have changed obviously....Good Luck

this product is simple to use but dries out your hands. i use it all the time. its called Lestoil. mix this with cascade and warm water. your floors will brand new in about two minutes. just use two cap fulls of lestoil and a tablespoon of cascade or other dishwasher powder and mix with the water. i clean my floors twice a week to keep them looking new.

Call up some large floor refinishing companies and ask what they use. The one with the most votes I guess would win.

Funny you should ask....I just finished cleaning mine and we use "Orange Glo" Wood Cleaner and Polish....my floor always looks great and feels clean. Try it....I'm sure you'll agree....you can get it at Walmart. Dont's use "Mr. Clean".....that's too abrasive for wood.

Use a mixture of vinegar and water. Scrub any stubborn messes with a plastic scrubbie. Follow up with a mopping using the vinegar and water.

the best cleaning lady I ever had used white vinegar and water. It didn't smell once it dried, left no residue and is cheap.
