What's a good, low-cost dial-up ISP?

I'm looking into a new ISP and leaning towards PeoplePC. However, before I sign up, does anyone else know of some good providers? Also, if anyone here has had any experience with PeoplePC, how did you like them?

Update:

Much as I would like DSL service, it isn't available where I live. Save for Hughes.net, but I'd prefer not to spend hundreds of dollars for satellite equipment.

Okay here it goes People PC is owned by Earthlink so if you have any hard feeling toward EL don't choose PPC. Earthlink stinks trust me! Their CS makes it not worth trying and they always offer low rates then kick it back up after a few months. People PC has it's ups and downs. Better CS for one but much fewer features and the more you add on the higher the price.(The low price option $10< doesn't have an accelerator which doesn't help a lot but is better than nothing.) Net-zero isn't cool because (at least last time I checked) their tech. services (in case you have a problem at all) is charged by the hr. AOL software is notorious for invading your computer and never coming off (It doesn't play nice with anyone else). Personally as affordable as cable and DSL are getting (you can get some pretty sweet bundles now) I wouldn't waste my money on dial up. Just my opinion though. Good Luck!

I've never had PeoplePC myself but when I worked at Circuit City when we sold a computer we would try and sign up people to either earthlink, aol

or PeoplePC(cause those where the companies we had deals with) and out of all of those providers I had the most customers come back saying they where happy with PeoplePC.

I used to have USADatanet a long time ago, it was cheap and they where nice but there where quiet a few times it went down and you couldnt get on the net. I think it only services New York and MA too...

Get Broadband - Dial Up isn't nicely well worth the fear. Tiscali do a 2mb provider for £16 in line with month that has no limits - you also do not get any 'chosen' characteristic content like you do with different ISPs. stay away from AOL in any respect expenditures - that is an invasive soreness the proverbial.

Netzero is no longer as cheap. Both Netscape and Netzero will weigh you down with their own browers and dial up window. Go with CWNET www.cwnet.com You can setup a connection to their server from your dial-up network feature from windows, once connected you will only have a little icon at the lower right corner of your taskbar and you can feel free to use a web browser of your choice (I recommend Firefox) and it only cost you 4.99 if you pay for a year in advance, that's half Netzero of Netscape.

Every look into getting something like DSL. In most areas it is only 25 USD from the phone company and is much more reliable while letting your phone line be free for actual calls. But if you want cheap dialup, People PC would be the way to go.
