Wear what you feel comfortable in - what you like. Don't worry about the other kids; let them like you for who you are, not for what you're wearing.

A few more tips:

Don't eat paste.

Getting covered in sand isn't a good idea when you can't take shower right away.

Gum in hair is forever.

I hope this is your first day in elementary school. If you're talking about middle school or high school, perhaps you should concern yourself with how hard you should be studying English, not what you should be wearing on your first day of school.

If you do manage to graduate high school, and then go out to apply for college or to get a job, nobody will care what you wore on your first day of school. Rather, they will care about whether or not you are educated enough to enter college or to take the job for which you are applying.

Definitely wear your favourite clothes.[unless they are your pjs] You will feel great in them => there's a reason why they are your favourite clothes right?<= and also, you will most prob look great in them.

People make friends with who you are, no point putting up a pretence and wear clothes u hate eh?

I think u should wear a halloween costume. Like rent a cat in the hat costume and wear it. Everyone will think ur the coolest!!
