How do you know that your religion is the correct one, and other religions have got it all wrong?
There are many major religions in the world, such as Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Judaism, and so on. Within each major religion there can also be many minor religions. For example, within Christianity there is Catholic, Protestant, Anglican and so on. Within Islam there is Shiite, Sunni etc.
In summary there are many hundreds of different religions in the world all with their devoted believers and followers. Talk to any devout religious person and they will almost emphatically insist that their religion is the right one, it’s fact, and any non-believer is doomed.
Commonsense and logic would suggest that if there was any truthful or factual basis to religion, then only one of these religions could be correct, not all of them. However, in my view, it’s highly unlikely that any of these man-made religions bear any resemblance to fact or the truth, and are more likely to be the result of simplistic human intelligence looking for an escape from reality.

I am happy with mine. I don't feel the need to convince anyone else. If you're happy with yours, then I am happy for you.

IMHO, I think all religons speak the same Truth . ( Note that I did not say and did not mean that all religons honoured the same God)
It is just that there are so many different levels of understanding about this Truth in the minds of humans and thus there are different religons in the world that interpret this Truth differently .
There is really no Right or Wrong issue here.
IMHO I would say that all religons are correct and they hold the same TRUTH, just that there are different interpretations to it.
Please do not fall into the trap of proving which is Right and which is Wrong , because doing this will almost certainly bring you pain and suffering.
I believe any religion in the world seek happiness for its believers and not to create further sufferings and miseries.

Christianity is based upon Judaism as Jesus said my Brothers Mothers and sister NIV are those that hear the words of G=D and put them into practice.only WORDS they had at the time that Jesus said this were the Law of Moses which G=D gave on the mountain That's where Most Christians fail. they don't know G=D. They let what was said in new testament lead them away from G=D. Even when Jesus told us what the greatest commandment was. also the Lords Prayer What Paul told Timothy 2Tim 3-15 You have known the Holy scriptures from a child> three places in REV thou shall keep the commandments of G=D and The testimony of Jesus IF PEOPLE WOULD READ THE BIBLE ,WILLING TO DO WHAT IT SAY. INSTEAD OF WHAT THEY THINK THEY KNOW!

I have thought this myself.
What if the Zoroastrians had it right?
What if the Wiccans are more in touch spiritually?
Why do Sunni Muslims and Shi'ite Muslims take turns blowing each other up? Aren't they both Muslims?
A lot of the religions share the same tales, especially about the Flood.
Even pagans pray to a higher deity, like the Sun or the Moon or Nature.
What gives?

It's called a Testimony. Something you have to study and pray for to gain. I don't believe all religions have it wrong, but I do believe all but one don't have the fulness of the gospel, the whole truth. I am LDS, Mormon. We have the fulness of the gospel, it was restored to the earth by the power of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
I agree with your point: Common sense and logic would suggest that if there was any truthful or factual basis to religion, then only one of these religions could be correct, not all of them.
It is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is the only true and living church on the earth.
For our basic beliefs you can go to LDS.org and read the Articles of Faith, or email me and I can answer or at least try to answer any questions you have...
Goal: Celestial Kingdom!

At best, purely one way is sweet. At worst, all of them are incorrect. a number of the justifications that i believe that Christianity is the superb one comprise: a million. Fulfilled prophesies of the Bible. There are thousands of particular prophesies that were fulfilled. favourite ones comprise that it anticipated Israel would grow to be a rustic back in 1948, Daniel defined countless empires in tremendous element that hadn't been round yet, and Daniel anticipated precisely even as Jesus will be crucified. 2. Jesus. i have appeared on the evidence and that i'm confident that Jesus walked the earth, died, and rose from the grave in simple terms as he stated he would. 3. The archeological evidence has the same opinion with the Bible. also, flora stated interior the Bible believe the section, the languages adventure, and the Geography is sweet. many of the cities nonetheless exist with an same names. not all non secular books have this. If we seem on the e book of Mormon, case in factor, no individual has heard of "Reformed Egyptian" outside of Mormonism. It mentions chariots, metallic money, guns of metallic in early united statesa., yet there is not any evidence of it. Stuff like that. 4. also, it worked for me. Jesus completely replaced my existence and who i'm. P.S. I see 2 complication-free matters the following: a million. some believe that there are a mode of solutions. 2+2 =4 continually. Please comprehend that not each and every thing is relative. 2. they're basing "actuality" on what they sense. this isn't a strong thanks to discover actuality.

What if there is only one religion, indeed? There is one God, there is one humankind, it would only make sense to be one religion, as well. Well, that's exactly what the Baha'is belive in - there is one religion and all the religions in the past were steps in the evolution of this one religion. The Baha'i Faith is only another step in this evolution, it's not more or less important than any other religions. It's like different grades in a school. They continue each other. None of them could be more important than the previous or next one. If you are curious explore the Baha'i Faith, it makes perfect sense.

There are truths to be found in attempting to reach the Ultimate. No one religion possesses all truths, even though some followers may insist that their religion does. Wanting to be the only truth or "most right" is nothing more than vanity, or as Ecclesiastes put it, "meaninglessness."

Organized religion is a scam. God is a spirit that exists within each of us with no magic powers or any hoohaas. My religion believes (I am the only member) that as long as you don't hurt others by word or deed, you are all right. I don't have to go to any temple or church or mosque and pray to some imaginary God for being saved or for salvation.

I have had this discussion before with some old friends. There is no simple answer, or perhaps there is, I just have not found it yet.
All I know is that the truth is independent of your point of view. That is, if there is God and Devil they would exist even if no one believe in them.
In order to find the truth behind everything you have to take out all the crap and search for purity. Easy, isn't it?

a religion is just a path to a destination it is not the goal . . . there are many routes to the top of the mountain and many views from these paths . . . some intersecting our own occasionally. . . but realize the goal is yet to be seen it is still ahead somewhere at the top . . . why not take this moment to enjoy our path and engage at the intersections gaining knowledge from the other spiritual travelers we may meet . . . this is quite an interesting place to meet and learn from other travelers and i would not attempt to judge your path as easier or harder i just offer sincere appreciation that yours is different and yields a chance to learn about where i have not been myself
