New FBI draft legislation; is this okay with you?
The FBI has drafted new legislation which would allow massive surveillance of internet users. It would require ISPs to create wiretapping hubs for police surveillance, and it would require manufacturers to build in 'backdoor' technology in computer networks that would allow for easy eavesdropping.

Well, the FBI can "draft" legislation... kinda like any citizen can "draft" legislation. But that is a far step away from becoming law.
I'm not sweating it yet.

I believe that Americans should have the right to privacy.
Yes we do have to protect American and it's people, In order to do that we need to do so before terrorist come into this country not after they are here, that's why there is a problem, But do not believe just because we lose our right to privacy means we are being protected one does not equate to the other.
Sadly many laws have changed which in actuality provide more rights and protection for criminals than for law abiding citizens.
Most Police Officers I believe do their job because they believe in what they are doing and for the right reasons, but many have been victims of the new laws which will unjustly punish them for doing their job, as a result many officers are hesitate to take action for fear of any severe consequences against them personally or their families

I do believe in our right to policy; however, if you are doing nothing wrong, why would you care? Think of all the people that are doing wrong would be caught, for example child molesters. I know it wouldnt make them go away but they would sure think twice about getting online to meet a child as their next victim

I don't care, it would make the internet safer... but it also goes against privacy acts and stuff. I like my privacy, but I would rather be watched over and kept safe than not have a guardian angle at all.
