Wow, I do feel that way too... I know exactly what you are talking about. I also just "know" that it will happen when the time is right and I dont worry about it. Its almost comforting to know it will happen.

We are all born with an understanding we were put here for a purpose.

Some of us do a pretty good job of convincing ourselves that that isn't true and that we are allowed to waste our life, but that's a lie.

There is something we are supposed to do, and that's what the Bible teaches us. We were put here to learn to obey God and glorify Him and do His bidding (spread His Gospel around the world before the end comes).

I think most of us know we aren't doing what we are supposed to be doing also. I think everyone knows they will be accountable to God someday for wasting their life, for all the wasted days that they could have been doing what He created them for, but refused to look into it enough to find out what He would have clearly showed them about His purpose for them and for their life.
