I made a blueberry dumpcake, with the ingredients of pie filling, white cake mix, and butter.?

I am wondering if I made it correctly. If anybody has made one of these, please let me know what it is supposed to look/taste like. Thank you so much!!

it sounds like you did it just right! Dump in the pie filling and spread it evenly, dump the dry cake mix on top and spread that out too, then pour a stick of melted butter on top! Bake 350 for about 30-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly!

Dump cakes are sooo yummy! Yours will probably taste like blueberry and vanilla.... mmm... add some ice cream to the finished product... yum!

I like to make mine with cherry filling and chocolate cake!! Serve it with chocolate sauce drizzled on top!!

    Enjoy your dump cake!

Sounds like you made it correctly. My roommate also adds chunk canned pineapple with the blueberries. It should look like a crumble desert with the bottom layer of pie filling and the top layer cake mix and butter. It's kind of a messy, not a show stopper as far as presentation but tastes good.

Sonds like the dumpcake I know. Yummmm! Your on the right track. I've had it with blue berry, cherry, and pine apple. It was the ugliest cake I had ever seen and didn't think it could possibly be good. But it was wonderful. Throw a few almonds or walnuts in it to give it a little different texture. It is a very very tart cake.

I use a chocolate cake mix

1 can blueberry (or cherry) pie filling

    1 TBSP. almond extract

    4 eggs

sliced almonds if you wish sprinkled on top

Bake as on directions for 9x13 pan

You will never have such a moist cake

Sounds about right. It's been a while since I made a dump cake and it was pumpkin. :)

It should look kind of like a cobbler, but the batter will be crumbly instead of like biscuits.

    It sounds yummy!
