A good diet. I sorry to say we still are not always in tune even when we eat great nor can we always eat as we should.

Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, make sure you have fruit and veges daily for fibre and exercise as much as you are able. The term "regular" however is quite individualised, it is normal for some people to go 2x daily yet others can go 3x a week . Age, health issues and stressors can affect your bowels. Sometimes doing number 2's can be a science!!

Eat plenty of fiber-rich foods (fruits and veggies), drink plenty of water, exercise regularly, and if you're still having problems, take a fiber supplement. Water. Lots of water.

Eating well balanced meals with protein and fiber and drinking plenty of fluids.

Eat bran, whole wheat, fruits and vetetables. Coffee helps too.

i ended up in the emergency yesterday because of severe constipation...oh my god you can not believe how bad it can get!! take metamucal, stool softner and milk of magnesia
