Question about a rewritable CD?

I have recorded some songs on a rewritable CD. If I want to add more songs to that CD, do I have to re-record the songs I already have on there or will the new songs just be added to end of the songs already on the CD? I do all this on my computer.

The songs that are already on the CD will be fine. All you have to do is just add the songs that you want to and they will be added with no problem.

yeah that was the same problem with me. thats a big problem in a rewriteable CD. if you write any data then the data would not be added instead the previous data would be erased and the present data will replace it. so u better copy the whole songs folder at once and better not to try doing that. rewriteable CD's suck.

Depends on if you closed just the sessions (used for the first songs) or closed the disk. If you closed the disk, no you can't add more.

Most burner software just closes the session or asks if you want to close the disk.

i think you'll have to re-record everything because the disc would delete anything previously recorded to record the new info
