here are the facts on a 99 escort. .there is no amp.. people sometimes will say that to charge you more money to do it. they only take a very weird dash kit that's all.. the wires are there behind the dash.. and most kits come with the harness included..
american international kits make one .. model # fm-k570
and metra kits make one .. model # 99-5720
and both come with wiring harness... and as for your speakers.. they are 6" in the doors and 6x8 in the back..
