Regarding chatrooms and webcams. What are the laws concerning viewing other peoples webcams...in a chatroom?

When I am in a Yahoo chatroom and have my webcam "on"...I recieve many requests from other members wanting to view my cam. If this person identifies herself as "female - 24 yrs" and she wants to see me and "all" of me. Is this legal to allow her to do so? As long as the person identifies themself as over 18 yrs of age? I don't mind allowing others to view my cam, but I don't want to do anything that could possibly be illegal.

You have no idea who is on the other side of that internet connection. they can say anything. A 16 year-old could claim to be 22, and you would never know.

Besides, ya really gotta ask yourself "Why?".

In any case, whether it's legal or not, consider if what you want to do is moral.

I give you 2 thumbs down on cams.

some wise solutions and questions. Very uncommon in spite of the indisputable fact that. i doesn't even call it a communicate room. better of a hate zone. unfold from all aspects. except the Buddhism, Hinduism and Zen. seems also for the most the Muslims do not attack right here. properly from what I actual have considered for the most. seems strange doesn't it. From what's declared about them.

The question is who's jurisdiction over the internet? who's claiming to rule and punish all violators? I think, it is depend on the countries if they adopted some internet rules...if your country adopted and resolve internet rules, then beware for it...In our country, internet rules is not yet come into that point, you can even hack accounts over there from another country...joke...
