The pressure change in the atmosphere before a thunderstorm can cause the fluid in your knee to change and this causes pain/discomfort. Generally this is only after you've had some injury to your knee, but some people just have it naturally.

The barometric pressure changes often cause those with pre-arthritis or a former injury pain. It's like a weather predictor.

I used to be able to tell you an hour before it rained because I had painful twinges in my joints. As I got older this vanished so I never found out what caused it but it could be mild rheumatism.

Some people who have arthritis know it is going to rain because they have pain in joints of their body..

It's best to get to a doctor and see if you have a form of arthritis

I've never heard of that, but that's fascinating. I've noticed that the cat would get jumpy when a storm was on the way.

you probably have some form of arthritis in that knee......from previous injury.....When the atmospheric pressure changes it can affect joints and ligaments throughout your body.
