Should I keep McAfee?
I just got a Dell notebook. It came with a trial McAfee. It has virus scan, spam killer, firewall and something called personal privacy. The 3 year price is $150. Is this good protection and a good price? Thanks. Please don't be too technical.

If u can afford it then better keep it. PC Magzine Award Winner McAfee is World's Best known Antivirus. It not only clean viruses, trojans, unknown programs etc but also blocks spywares or adwares. Protects system buffer overflow. U can also set Port blocking rules. What else u need??? And Daily gets Updated.
If u stilkl think that Free software can protect u, go ahead and have a try.

When I got a virus last week in my computer, the tech recommended Kaspersky; he said it eliminates 90% of all viruses, and is the best on the market.

No. and... make sure you UNINSTALL the trial through the Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs, or it'll keep buggin you.
AVG anti-virus is free, fast, great - see grisoft.com

Just uninstall it and get free antivirus called "Grisoft's AVG Freeware". It is free and it is better!
