What is better and more faithful, a girl or a good dog?

Dude, I would kinda/sorta consider myself an expert on this, because I have had/have both.

The dog that my parents still have, which live real close to me, was given to me by my first true love, on valentines day, whenever I was a freshman in highschool. I am 28 years old now. That dog has been there for me and my family forever. She is a black lab. One could not ask for a better or more loyal dog, FRIEND. As you might have guessed, that girl has been gone for more than a decade.

The second spring that my wife and I were together, she talked me in to buying her a dog. We had been together for 6 years. My wife was a wonderful girl, much like my first love. Well, right around the 7th anniversary of when we started dating, she left me, probably cheated, whatever. She loved that dog more than anything, right? Heck, I didn't even want to get one whenever she talked me into it. Well, long story short, I gave my wife (to be exwife) anything and everything she wanted throughout the divorce process. We didn't have kids, were civil and so forth. However, law enforcement would have had to pull my dog from my bloody hands after they murdered me before I would have given her up. Fortunately for me, my exwife understood that and gave up on that battle.

I don't know that I would call a dog better than a woman...that is a bit of a stretch, but there is no doubt that a dog is more faithful. I love both of my dogs just like they are people. Both are black labs, (animal planet experts voted that black labs are the smarts dogs and best pets a human can have, I agree,). I know, I would never compromise my dog for a relationship with a woman.

Women will come and go, but a good dog will be there for you their entire lives. Nothing beats a good dog. Mine is laying at my feet right now, waiting to go to bed.

Best case scenario, you will have both!
