Border fence or technology?

Would a fence along the Mexican border help the situation or should they use technology?

Technology such as www.remotesystems.us it seems would be better than puting a fence up that would also stop the diverse wildlife from migrating.

Do both. We have way to much Migration coming up from the South. I'm sure any animals held back by the fence will learn to get over it.

We need both in appropriate spots. Technology isn't as effective, and that is a fact. Look at areas where both have been tried. In populated areas we need fences and barriers. It massively reduces crime of other sorts as well. However, in those areas we need to slow people down crossing with PHYSICAL barriers because they can get lost too easily in a crowd. Those areas being so populated also are not major wildlife areas.

In more remote areas, sensors and technology may be adequate to let the border patrol pick up the trail before the fugitive gets to a populated area or major road.

Fences remain when staffing is cut for pet projects, as well.

These facts may be new to you but are well known to politicians who have reviewed this issue. I think it is pretty much a rule of thumb by now that people who don't want barriers don't really want to impede illegal immigration.

We are forgetting that as well we are fencing ourselves in. In Jan. 08 all US citizens must have a passport to leave. It makes me feel more like a prisoner than a citizen. Already I notice Canada is making it more difficult for an American entry as well any Americans wanting to live and work there.I guess they don't want all our people moving there for free health care and cheaper drugs.I do feel like a "branded Texas long horn."

You can't do anything without that SS # following you and now passports to come and go as well fences..Your first passport can cost you like $200, that's a lot of cash for the Feds from all those cruise ship patrons! in addition it's another source for homeland security's records and the IRS data base.

They already can tap any phone, land or cell and all computers can be tracked and many cars using On Star etc..

    Fear factor anyone?

We should put collars on all the Mexicans and set up an invisible fence so that they get zapped if they try to cross.

properly executed usa of america of usa of america. A usa is defined by its borders. you are able to also decrease back it up with a 2d strip huge sufficient to have wolves run up and down it. you would possibly want to herd each and each of the wolves that kill farm animals into it, and that can provide the united states extra land for farm animals farming at a earnings.

Neither. They are already finding tunnels so a fence is a mote point. Peace.

A combination, as described by DAR would probably work very well.
