I was there on a business trip, so I didn't have too much free time. I was however, able to go to the Night Safari as well as the Botanical Garden. Those two are a must. Also, if you are old enough to drink, then stop by the Raffles Hotel for a Singapore Sling. Supposedly, that is the hotel where the drink was invented in the early 1900's. Enjoy your trip!

SIngapore zoo , Night safari - they got the best toilets in the world
Jurong Birdpark - every tourist loves our birdpark.
Botanic Gardens - Just renovated.
Esplanade Theatres on the Bay - our durian building. Drop by at the Merlion Park just nearby(across the bridge).
Orchard Shopping Area - for your shopping needs
Newton Circus - for Singaproean food

Spend a day to visit Sentosa Island, another half-day on city-tour and spend one or two day on the shopping malls along Orchard Road. That is about it. There will be some development on our Southern Islands by 2007 and our casinos will be ready in 2009.
