I'm 49 and my girlfriend is 27. Age makes no difference if you both are at ease with it. My gf's mom AND her grandfather are really cool with it, so I say F*** what anybody else has to say.

If both people are over the age of 18, age difference is only a problem if you let it be. 6 years is not that much, it all depends on wether you share the same interests, beliefs and values. Those are the things that will determine if a relationship will work. Best of luck

my daughers's father was 19 years older than me... i was 27 and he was 46 when i had we met... we've been separated and he's just passed away from cancer at young age and was ill for long time with another life illness

and now, i'm 44 and i'm dating a 24 year old man, so now is 20 years age differncen the opposite way...

age is only a number, my feeling is that as long a you are mature and over the age of 18, no harm done, and as long as there is trust and communication, etc. it can work out as any other same age relationship

It isn't the age as much as how mature you both are and how well you both communicate with each other. He is old enough to be in a lifelong relationship. The question is are you both mature enough?

If you have any communications issues (i.e. difficult to talk to, doesn't listen, has to get the last word, always fights instead of talks things through respectfully...) there is little hope for the relationship to last.

    Good luck to you both!

age shouldnt matter if you really love him, age isnt just but a number.i have family members who have a 12 yr spand between eachother. do the right thing, if you know you can trust him, love him and be with him for a long time then it will work out the way you want it to.

I think it would work. If the age difference does not worriy her then u have nothing to worry about as long as you both love and care about each other.

honestly it shouldnt be a big deal if you really care for each other i like older women myself so i see nothing wrong with it and 6yrs isnt that much if u really think about it at ur ages its more commonplace nowadays so dont sweat it

Only if YOU are not concerned with the age thing. But since you asked, I'd say your concerned with it.

no big, my grandma is like 8 years older than my grandpa, and there was never a problem between them when they were younger.

Age is nothing if you like him. If other things are OK, go for it.
