Normally I'd say a dry oven heat in the 90's ,but currently we are experiencing unusual humidity!!
Its July and today was in the high 90s and humid.. not as humid as East Coast but is sure humid nonetheless.
Ironically the end of August cools down and stays cool around 70-75, until the beginning of October, when we get the next heat wave. Then right before Halloween its cool in the 50-60's.

Both can be in the high 90's low 100's in August - but LA is dry desert heat and Chicago is all emcompassing heat & high humidity.

In LA it's hot, but in Chicago it's ridiculously, blazing hot! It's HELL hot in Chi town!
